Our immune system needs exercise to increase both cardiovascular and lymphatic circulation.

The lymphatic circulation is our first line of defense against any invaders and pathogens that enter our system. Because our lymphatic system doesn’t have an organ like the heart that keeps pumping, it relies on movement in order to function.

In the context of exercising to help with your autoimmune recovery, we’re not talking about high intensity training for fitness or muscle building. Instead, we will focus on movements and exercises that improve both cardiovascular and lymphatic circulation.
