I originally created these cards for my daughter to support her healing journey. They gave us an age-appropriate way to bring in calm, encouragement, and empowering daily affirmation.

Each card carries a message to help reconnect with the body’s natural resilience and capacity to heal. They’re designed to help little ones feel supported, grounded, and equipped with words they can come back to, especially on the harder days.

How these cards can help

This set is a gentle but powerful tool to support your child emotionally as you navigate and work through alopecia together.

Use them to:

• Open up meaningful conversations about what’s happening

• Encourage confidence, self-belief, and emotional steadiness

• Introduce visualization in a grounded, kid-friendly way (how they see themselves matters)

• Create daily moments of calm, connection, and trust in the process

• Reinforce the work you’re already doing on the physical side

These affirmations nurture the deeper belief that healing is already unfolding, even when it’s not visible yet. That shift in perspective can gently influence how your child relates to food, routines, and their own body.

How to use the cards

Use the cards in a way that feels just right for your child and family.

• Let your child choose and read a card that feels right for the day
• Say the words out loud and invite them to picture their body healing, growing, and getting stronger
• Use the cards to gently introduce visualisation in a way that’s fun and child-friendly
• Keep a few cards visible… on a mirror, taped to the wall, tucked into a lunchbox… as quiet reminders throughout the day
• Repeat favourites often to help the affirmations settle in and feel familiar

What you’ll receive

This is a digital download. You will receive:

• Each page includes 3 rounded cards, formatted for easy printing and cutting
• Included in the 36 card designs are: a card for them to write their name, and a card for them to write (and draw) their own affirmation.

• Print on card stock for durability, in full colour and in landscape mode
• Cut along the light grey rounded guides
